Summary
All Aboard Preschool Child Care Center is a natured based childcare center who is looking for a couple substitute teachers to cover classrooms when staff are unwell or have requested vacation time, for our nature-based classrooms that would be responsible for managing the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom. Canidates must understand children's cognitive, social, emotional and physical development in order to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where children are actively engaged and encouraged to succeed.
Duties
- Canidate must be willing to work a 8-9 hour day when called in if available.
- Be ready to take over the classroom they are subbing in for the day based on the notes left by the classrooms teacher
- Lead by example; encourage teaching team success through modeling and coaching. Typically, you would be working with another teacher but not always.
- Ensure all center policies and state regulations are met.
- Ensure a healthy classroom environment - including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards and safety and security of children
Requirements
- Childcare experience is preferred.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- High energy and the ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment.
- A strong understanding of child development.
- Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.(we will train)
- Must clear full background check and must pass health screening.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Must be willing to have an ongoing professional development plan on Nh connections and ProSolutions (18hr per calendar year)
- Pay is based on experience and education.
- No college credits are required for this position.
