Position: DOT -Program Manager
Location: Blue Ash, OH
Duration: 1 Year

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to join our Department of Transportation (DOT) team. The Program Manager will oversee the development, implementation, and management of various projects, ensuring successful delivery and adherence to standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scope Development: Collaborate with Agency project managers to define project scopes.
  • Budget Management: Maintain project-level budgets, set reporting standards, and produce executive and detailed reports as needed.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Develop and manage project risk and issue management plans.
  • Resource Coordination: Coordinate and produce project-level resource reports.
  • Business Planning: Develop and maintain business plans and ROI data for projects.
  • Reporting: Create project presentations and progress reports on a monthly basis.
  • Team Management: Organize, manage, and direct project team tasks, ensuring PMO standards, tools, and methodologies are applied.
  • Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans and oversee their execution.
  • Stakeholder Management: Supervise project stakeholders, team, and communications.
  • Risk & Change Management: Manage project risks, issues, and changes effectively.
  • Schedule & Budget Oversight: Oversee project schedules and budgets, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Conflict Resolution: Manage conflicts and ensure successful project delivery.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years of Project/Program Management experience.
  • At least 4 years of experience with full lifecycle implementation projects from requirements definition through implementation.
  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on expertise with Microsoft Office products, including Project and Visio.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing complex Data Warehouse and business intelligence projects with medium-to-large budgets and sizeable staff.
  • Ability to develop strong client and working relationships.
  • Experience working with government agencies is a plus.
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proven experience in technical specialty across large and complex implementations and systems.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is highly desired.
