We are searching for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our St. Louis Studio.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Establish project design approach for specific discipline at project start up
    1. Leads client management.
    2. Attends client, consultant, and design committee meetings.
    3. Presents design to client and coordinates with other disciplines and consultants.
    4. May be involved in project/client pursuits.
  • Manage project specific scope, budget and schedule
    1. Participates in all design and construction phases of projects.
    2. Responsible for scope, schedule, budget for own scope of work.
    3. Owns all projects in entirety related to project delivery.
    4. Manages teams and assists other project team members in the development and maintenance of workplans.
    5. Participates in project debriefs and lesson’s learned sessions.
  • Oversee development of fully coordinated quality design documents
    1. Leads in planning, design and documentation of projects. Prepares working drawings and stamps drawings.
    2. Communicates and improves some design processes with other team members.
    3. Recommend and implement alterations to design to improve quality.
  • Mentorship
    1. Mentor other Designers and Engineers. Provide training and leadership through project work to empower, train and develop designers and engineers.

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Pursue additional certifications
  • Support systems commissioning activities, including site visits and functional testing - development and execution.
  • Promote company reputation through good client relations.
  • May be required to perform other duties as assigned.

  • High accuracy and attention to detail: Able to perform work and job function with precision and accuracy; carefully monitors processes; concentrates on details, organizes and maintains a system of records.
  • Code and Mathematical knowledge required: Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local building codes and safety laws. Work requires advanced math skills, special relationship abilities, and the ability to understand “abstract” principles behind math and physics.
  • Ownership Mentality: Possesses a sense of ownership in all deliverables. Utilizes knowledge and opportunity to continually strive for excellence within an empowering culture. Collaborates and supports fellow employee owners in ongoing improvements. Understands personal accountability within their role in the company.
  • Computer skills required: Microsoft Windows environment, Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel; Google: Mail, Calendar, Drive, Apps
    • Electrical: SKM Power Tools - Electrical System Analysis, Various lighting design software

Education/Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or Professional degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering
  • 15+ years of applicable experience
    • Experience within healing, learning and/or discovery market sectors preferred
  • Professional Engineer (PE) Licensure preferred
