Adaptable and responsive to the input of cardiologists, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of echocardiography. As a valued member of the team, consistently aligns behavior with organizational principles and contributes to the delivery of exceptional patient care.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Meet expectations of the applicable competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
  • Perform routine echocardiograms for evaluating possible abnormal heart defects or disease.
  • Assist physicians with transesophageal echocardiograms.
  • Conduct stress echocardiograms to evaluate coronary artery disease.
  • Notify physicians daily for exam interpretation and check weekly for needed supplies.
  • Demonstrate competence to perform assigned patient care responsibilities in a manner that meets the age-specific and developmental needs of patients served by the department.
  • Appropriately adapt assessment, treatment, and/or service methods to accommodate age-specific or other developmental needs of the patient.
  • Demonstrate adherence to the core values of our client.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Must Haves:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology or other accepted and approved equivalent
  • Two years of experience in the Cardiology field
  • Experience with stress testing
  • BLS


Salary: BASED ON EXPERIENCE $34-$47
