The Service Technician I provides needed repairs to RbA products completing tasks in accordance with company values, and strategic direction from the Operations Manager. The role of the Service Technician I is to support and collaborate with the Operations department in continuous improvement regarding the timely completion of service projects. This position reports to our warehouse in Rancho Cordova and travels within our territory using company vehicles to provide superior customer service on RbA products.


Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for the following:

  • Effectively prepares the job site for set up and tear down
  • Analyze customer situations, determine corrective action to be taken, communicate recommendations to the service department and complete the repair.
  • Engage with customers in a respectful manner, giving the customer the information and explanations that are
  • helpful in understanding the situation and corrective action needed. Remain focused on customer’s issues and concerns, responding to requests in a thorough and timely manner.
  • Complete assigned work schedules and work orders; set priorities and complete appointments with customers.
  • Dependable and punctual in meeting commitments to co-workers and customers.
  • Complete and submit required paperwork that is neat, accurate, and thorough; ensure that all paperwork is completed in a timely manner.
  • Work in a highly collaborative environment keeping all team members informed as needed, of customer interactions and actions taken.
  • Follow established Renewal by Anderson processes, making recommendations for process improvement. Keep current on RbA product and installation process.
  • Keep the service area neat and organized. Inventory service stock area of warehouse; request material replenishment as needed. Provide detailed information to the Production Manager.
  • Performs any other related, unrelated, unassigned, unspecified, out of the ordinary or special duties that may be assigned

To drive an RBA or personal vehicle employees are required to hold a driver’s license and current auto insurance as required by law, be an approved driver by RBA's insurance, and provide copies to the Human Resource department

  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
