As a Lot Merchandiser at Bozarth Chevrolet you will get to learn all about the in’s and out’s of the sales department. A lot tech is responsible for keeping a well manicured store. This includes but isn't limited to keeping the store immaculate both inside and out, and organizing and taking care of all different makes and models of vehicles to make sure they are being shown in the best light.

To qualify specifically for this role, we require candidates to:

  • Have a valid driver's license with a satisfactory motor vehicle record 
  • Have the flexibility to work a schedule that may include some Saturdays and some holidays 


Depending on how far you as a candidate proceed in our process, you will be required to pass a background check which includes a drug test. All candidates must be authorized to work in the US.


Tasks

  • Keep pre-owned vehicles and the pre-owned lot clean
  • Properly merchandise vehicles with photos and stickers
  • Help move vehicles through the different phases of the pre-owned process
  • Inspect vehicles for damage and record findings so that necessary repairs can be made.
  • Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
  • Follow checklists to ensure all important components are in place to be deemed showroom ready
  • Clean or lubricate vehicles, machinery, equipment, instruments, tools, work areas, and other objects, using hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment.
  • Signal coworkers to direct them to take the next steps in the reconditioning and merchandising process.
  • Sweep, shovel, or vacuum loose debris or salvageable scrap into containers and remove containers from work areas.
  • Drive vehicles to or from workshops or customers' workplaces or homes.

  • Trunk Strength — The ability to use your abdominal and lower back muscles to support part of the body repeatedly or continuously over time without "giving out" or fatiguing.
