We are hiring a Finance Clerk for our growing team The Finance Clerk will support ARC’s financial operations by handling basic accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks, managing incoming calls, and organizing mail. The ideal candidate is proficient in financial procedures, has strong communication skills, and thrives in a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare and issue invoices for accounts receivable.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Answer incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate personnel.
- Greet and assist visitors in a professional manner.
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail.
- Maintain filing systems and ensure documents are properly stored.
- Assist with basic financial reports and data entry tasks.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve any financial issues or inquiries.
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned.
Key Experience and Education Needed:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Ability to read and interpret instructions
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Ability to problem solve
- Valid driver’s license
- Safety awareness
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time
- Ability to read detailed instructions
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to operate computer and other equipment in the office
- Must have sufficient mobility to move around the office and the community
- Maintain a respectful relationship with employees, interns and persons served/clients.
- Maintain confidentiality at all times displaying a professional disposition towards fellow staff.
- Maintain a positive working relationship with Addiction Recovery Care Center/Odyssey, Inc. staff and persons served/clients alike.
- Bring policy/personnel issues to supervision as they arise.
- Protect the privacy of all staff and persons served/client information in accordance with Addiction Recovery Care Center/Odyssey, Inc.’s privacy policies, procedures and practices, as required by federal and state law, and in accordance with general principles of professionalism as a healthcare provider. Failure to comply with Addiction Recovery Care Center/Odyssey, Inc.’s policies and procedures on persons served/client privacy may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment.
- Expected to report, without the threat of retaliation, any concerns regarding Addiction Recovery Care Center/Odyssey, Inc.’s policies and procedures on persons served/client privacy and any observed practices in violation of the policy to their supervisor.
