Cut Shop Technician

Full time day shift (5 am - 3:30 pm Mon - Thur), swing shift (3:00 pm - 1:30 am, Monday - Thursday), weekend (12 hour days Fri-Sat-Sun)

$22+ per hour DOE

Fulcrum Technologies, Inc., is an industry world class leader in the design and custom manufacture of machine bases for vibration sensitive production tools used in the semiconductor fabrication process. As part of the Cut Shop Team, you will bring your attention to detail and best team player skills to build Fulcrum's products per customer specifications.


Job Description:

  • Perform metal cutting to specifications and CAD drawings.
  • Read and use tape measures.
  • Perform preparation process including grinding and light welding work.
  • Drill, tap and countersink holes per CAD drawing specs.
  • General shop labor and mechanical assembly work
  • Participate in all safety training and abide by adopted safety practices.
  • Heavy manufacturing environment

Requirements:

  • 3+ years' experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to accurately use and read measuring tools.
  • Dependable, reliable, positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Dedicated to accuracy of work.
  • Proficiency at interpreting shop drawings; including weld symbols.
  • Good layout and math skills
  • Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Proficient with hand tools and hand-held power tools
  • Routinely lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs.
  • Wear required PPE while working in and when entering manufacturing shop floor environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience operating a horizontal band saw and drill press.
  • General welding and tacking skills.
  • Ability to use both the metric and imperial measuring system.
