Superior Electrical, Mechanical and Plumbing Inc. specializes in commercial service. Our service department is open 24 hour 7 days a week. We have multiple shifts and schedules available. The Service Electrician completes service calls at various commercial environments to provide repair, maintenance and installation while practicing compliance with national, state, and local electrical codes.


Responsibilities

  • Journeyman Electrician experience consisting of repair, maintenance, and diagnosis of commercial electrical components
  • Independently work-off blueprints, sketches, or schematic drawings
  • Proficiently run conduit in a commercial environment
  • Skilled at terminating and pulling wires into control centers, distribution boxes, transformers, transducers, switchgear, receptacles, and/or switches
  • Possess a working knowledge about emergency generators and power distribution systems including but not limited to troubleshooting, testing, and repair
  • Diagnose electrical issues and perform quality-control testing
  • Knowledge and experience with refrigeration control wiring, Ansul Systems or HVAC motor control wiring is desired
  • Additional duties may be assigned as needed
Requirements:
  • 5 or more years of commercial electrical experience in a commercial electrical construction
  • Valid driver license with the ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and a motor vehicle background check
  • English literacy skills
  • Cell phone literacy for the use of communication and mobile email
  • Available to work a Saturday or Sunday as part of your regular work schedule
  • Must be able to work according to safety guidelines, OSHA, and workplace policies
  • Pay rate is determined on experience and licensing
