: General purpose of this job is to operate the Tenter Frame safe and efficient and to produce first quality fabric, meeting all customer requirements.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Before each lot of fabric check S.O.P. with lot sheet to make sure all information is correct.
  • Set tenter frame up from instructions on S.O. P.’s and any instructions from the shift coordinator/department manager.
  • Fill out all production reports and papers required in processing the lot.
  • Keep good communication with the crew while running in order to maintain first quality fabric.
  • Inspect at all times when lot is running, record and report any defects.
  • Push cabs loaded with fabric.
  • Help perform weekly maintenance on frame.
  • Follow all safety rules.
