Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Talent Development, Diversity, and Engagement to architect and implement our talent development strategy. Reporting directly to the Chief Human Resources officer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing strategies that support talent growth, foster diversity, and enhance employee satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and execute a comprehensive learning strategy for leadership, management, and organizational culture development that drives peak performance in alignment with company goals.
- Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with senior leadership to align talent, diversity, and engagement strategies with business goals, utilizing data-driven insights to inform decision-making and improvements.
- Talent Development: Develop, facilitate and oversee comprehensive learning programs to support the needs of the organization and continuous development of our teams.
- Talent Management Strategy Integration: Integrate leadership and management learning programs within the broader talent management strategy to support succession planning, high-potential development, and organizational capability building.
- Measurement and Evaluation: Establish metrics and evaluation processes to assess the effectiveness of leadership and management learning, making data-driven decisions to enhance program impact.
- Diversity and Inclusion: Lead the creation and implementation of initiatives that promote a diverse and inclusive workplace, partnering with recruitment teams to attract diverse talent and support Employee Resource Groups (ERGs).
- Employee Engagement: Drive engagement strategies to enhance the employee experience, conducting regular surveys and implementing programs that recognize and reward contributions.
- Team Management and Collaboration: Lead the Talent Development team and work closely with other HR and organizational leaders to ensure programs are cohesive, relevant and adopted.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the talent development and space.
- Prior experience leading diversity, and/or employee engagement programs.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing successful talent development programs in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
- Strong strategic planning and execution skills, with the ability to translate business needs into effective learning solutions.
- Strong knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion best practices and legal requirements.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all organizational levels.
- Analytical mindset with experience in data-driven decision-making.
- Experience in performance management systems; preferably Workday.
- Certification in talent management or executive coaching (SHRM- SCP, ICF) is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Experience supporting a global professional services employee base a plus.

VERTEX offers a solid total compensation package including base salary and discretionary bonus plan.
