Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Inspector to join our team in Savannah, Georgia. The Inspector will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality and compliance of wastewater treatment projects. The ideal candidate will have an inspection background and willing to grow and learn on the job.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections of wastewater treatment facilities, construction sites, and related infrastructure to ensure compliance with project specifications, local codes, and industry standards.
  • Review and interpret engineering plans, specifications, and other project documentation.
  • Document and report on the progress, quality, and compliance of ongoing projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and local authorities to resolve any issues or discrepancies.
  • Ensure that all work is performed safely and in accordance with environmental regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, including photographs, reports, and other documentation.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Inspection Experience or a related field preferred.
  • Experience in wastewater treatment, construction, or related fields.
  • Familiarity with local and federal environmental regulations and codes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various project sites.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in an inspector and or project management role.
  • Proficiency in inspection software and reporting tools.
