Teller Supervisor (Orangeburg) Are you a natural leader with a passion for customer service and banking operations? Candidates must be available Monday - Thursday 8 am - 5 pm, Fridays 8 am - 6 pm. Some Saturdays 9 am- 12 pm may be required.

What You’ll Do:

  • Supervise Teller Operations: Oversee and coordinate branch tellers, ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions.
  • Lead by Example: Represent the Credit Union professionally, serving as a role model for the teller team.
  • Resolve Member Issues: Address member concerns professionally, ensuring high service quality and satisfaction.
  • Support Sales Goals: Identify and act on members' needs by referring appropriate products and services.
  • Ensure Compliance: Adhere to bank policies, security guidelines, and regulations.
  • Team Management: Guide and support the teller team, setting clear performance goals and providing regular feedback.
  • Training and Development: Identify and address skill gaps through tailored coaching and training programs.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Experience and Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Five years of teller experience, or a combination of teller and customer service experience.
  • Leadership Skills: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in retail banking or customer service, with a strong interest in developing leadership and management skills. Prior leadership or management experience is a plus but not required, as we value and support internal growth and professional development.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively coach and develop a team.
  • Team Orientation: Willingness to collaborate and interact professionally in a team environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Accuracy in balancing and attention to detail are crucial.

*Strict adherence to CPM's policies, federal regulations from NCUA and FFIEC, including GLB and BSA is required.
