Japanese Bilingual Electrical Engineer

Job Details:

As an integral member of the organization, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and troubleshooting complex electromechanical systems.

In this position, you will collaborate closely with engineers and technicians to ensure the smooth operation of our direct thermal media and toner products. You will be responsible for conducting root cause analysis, performing preventative maintenance, and implementing corrective actions to optimize equipment performance. Roles and Responsibilities:

Design, develop and test electromechanical systems and components for direct thermal media products and toner products.

Model the "safety first" behaviors we expect of all employees by ensuring that operational procedures, equipment, and processes are designed to provide a safe work environment.

Conduct feasibility studies and analyze technical data to ensure the viability of proposed designs.

Create detailed engineering drawings and documentation for manufacturing processes.

Assist in the selection and procurement of materials and components required for product assembly.

Assemble, install and troubleshoot electromechanical systems and equipment such as robotics and programming PLC.

Perform regular maintenance and repairs on electromechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.

Perform panel fabrication

Support production & maintenance downtime issues

Implement equipment improvement activities

Assist in the training of new employees and aide employees with questions regarding work standards.

Education Required

Technical/other training or better.

Experience Required

4 years: technical experience

2 years: electrical, automation, and mechanical troubleshooting experience (i.e. PLC, robotics, vision systems)

Experience in troubleshooting basic electrical circuit systems

Knowledge of A/C inverters and frequency drives

Hydraulic and pneumatic repair skills

Can manage a project of scheduling, prioritizing, effectiveness, and cost/budget.

Good communicator and can work with team effectively.

Team player: Willing to share the specialized knowledge and experience with team. Not to be possessive of his knowledge to himself.

Can think flexible and troubleshooting when needed.

Not a job hopper and someone who can think of his long-term career growth at the one company.

Always think about improvement/kaizen and can work proactive to take an action when needed.

Electrical engineering is strongly preferred.

PLC programming (siemens, Yasukawa)

Can understand Automatic control/inverter control

Have knowledge of and can use the different types of measuring machines/equipment
