PDS 8 / Power Delivery Substation

Mesa seeks a dedicated Protection & Controls Substation Engineer who will be responsible for the design of deliverables associated with substation P&C protection settings projects. Assigned tasks will include the creation and revision of panel front views, AC & DC elementaries, wiring diagrams, and yard equipment diagrams using MicroStation and AutoCAD.

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • 0-2 years of relevant Electrical Substation Design experience
  • 4-year engineering degree

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize MicroStation and AutoCAD to create assigned deliverables
  • Meet client’s schedule and budget requirements
  • Perform P&C design with high degree of accuracy
  • Willingness to travel (minimal) and work occasional overtime as needed
  • Perform careful self-checking activities to ensure the quality of work after it is presented to senior reviewers
  • Must be able to pass background check and Client Personal Risk Assessment.

Location Requirements:

The selected candidate will be required to report to the Chattanooga or Knoxville, TN office on a full-time basis.
