Laundry Attendant

Responsibilities:

• Sorting, washing, drying, pressing, and folding clothing and textiles with precision and care.
• Employing appropriate techniques to remove stains effectively.
• Undertaking minor sewing tasks as needed.
• Maintaining meticulous records to ensure items are returned to their rightful owners.
• Managing inventory of laundry supplies and sewing kits, ensuring availability for daily operations.
• Monitoring laundering equipment for maintenance needs and promptly addressing repairs.
• Upholding cleanliness standards throughout the facility.
• Engaging with customers to address inquiries, resolve concerns, and provide additional service recommendations.
• Ensuring ample tokens or change are available for washing and drying machines when necessary.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous.
• Familiarity with various cleaning detergents and laundry equipment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 pounds independently.
• Proficiency in basic arithmetic for inventory management.
• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Personable demeanor with a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends.
