The Franchise team seeks a highly skilled and motivated Franchise/Corporate attorney to join as an Associate or Senior Counsel attorney in our Malvern, PA office. The role will be filled based on current experience level.


More about the role

  • Analyze statutes, regulations, case law, and legal documents to provide accurate guidance.
  • Prepare and draft legal documents, contracts, and correspondence.
  • Create and review contracts, agreements, and other legal instruments.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear and concise legal advice.
  • Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and client advice.
  • Participate in client meetings, and negotiations as required.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and colleagues to develop legal strategies.
  • Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and knowledge sharing.
  • Stay current with legal trends, changes in legislation and regulations, and case law within the relevant practice areas.
  • Prepare and complete filings with state regulatory agencies.
  • Prepare and prosecute trademark filings.
Requirements:

Associate level: 3-5 years of experience practicing law, specifically in corporate law.


Senior Counsel level: 5-8 years of experience practicing law, specifically in corporate law.

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active and in good standing with the State Bar Association.
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
  • Demonstrated commitment to professionalism and ethical conduct.
