Realtor.com is a two-sided platform helping match the consumers on our site and apps to our paying customers. The Customer Data Science & Analytics team at Realtor.com provides trusted data and insights to optimize every aspect of our customer experience. This role will lead our new strategic pricing function, with a focus on optimizing pricing across our entire suite of customer-facing products. This is a key role, reporting directly to the VP, Customer Data Science & Analytics, that will be critical in driving profitability and competitive advantage for the company. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong analytical background to lead pricing analysis, strategy development, and implementation. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in creating and executing successful pricing models, strategies, and processes that support business objectives and growth.

What you'll do:

  • Establish and lead the Strategic Pricing function within the organization, setting its vision, strategy, and priorities. Lead and mentor a team of pricing analysts and data scientists.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive pricing strategies and models based on market analysis, customer value, and business goals to enhance profitability and market share.
  • Collaborate with product management, sales, marketing, and finance teams to understand product offerings, market dynamics, and cost structures to inform pricing decisions.
  • Conduct competitive pricing analysis and monitor market trends to ensure pricing strategies are competitive and effective.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the development and execution of pricing strategies and initiatives.
  • Develop metrics and dashboards to monitor pricing effectiveness and identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Develop experimentation capabilities that enable testing and measurement of new pricing strategies.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership in pricing matters, effectively communicate pricing strategies, and influence senior leadership and stakeholders across the organization.

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a business-related or quantitative field
  • 10+ years of professional experience in a pricing function, 5+ years experience managing people.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing pricing strategies
  • SQL fluency with preferred experience using a scripting language like Python or R.
  • Experience with senior executive stakeholder management and communicating data science & analytic findings to senior stakeholders
  • Preferred experience in pricing of B2B products.
