Job Overview


Dallas International School (DIS) is accredited by ISAS (Independent Schools Association of the Southwest), France's Ministry of Education, and the International Baccalaureate Organization.


With 686 students of over 30 nationalities, DIS is an international school on a human scale and the only one with a French and multilingual curriculum in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, a city of seven million inhabitants which is in full demographic and economic expansion. DIS is proud to be one of the few schools globally to offer both the IB's Bilingual and Advanced Bilingual Diploma programs in a variety of languages. In addition to English and French, other languages currently taught in the school are Spanish, German and Mandarin Chinese.


The school offers a rigorous curriculum integrating the best practices of French and American education. Upon completion of the French Baccalaureate or the IB Diploma program, our students go to college in the United States or internationally in countries such as France, Canada, the United Kingdom, Spain or Australia, among others.


We are currently seeking Camp Staff for Summer 2024 at our upper campus in the following areas:


  • Photography: to teach the basics of photography using a smartphone or a digital camera


  • Videography: to teach the basics of videography from camera operation to storytelling techniques and editing.


  • Art (pottery, sculpture): to teach the basics of pottery and/or sculpture including hand-building, wheel throwing and glazing. Experience using a kiln is required.


  • Music (digital recording studio): to provide students with practical knowledge of recording equipment, software and techniques, oversee recording projects and provide constructive feedback on student recordings. Must be familiar with Ableton.


  • Math: to teach math to middle-school students through games and fun activities.


  • Sports: to teach a variety of sports (soccer, basketball, volleyball, etc.) during our all sports camps.


Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field.

  • Three (3) years of teaching a related subject area.

  • Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Must be available during the period extending from June 10, 2024 through July 19, 2024 but most particularly during the last 3 weeks (July 1, 2024 through July 19, 2024).
