As a Window Cleaning Technician, your day involves:

  • Arriving at the shop to prepare for your day's jobs
  • Providing unparalleled exterior cleaning services to residential and commercial properties
  • Ensuring sparkling windows, flawless gutter cleanouts, and power wash perfection
  • Collaborating with team members

COMPETENCIES

Technical Skills

  • Cleaning Techniques: Proficiency in various window cleaning methods, including traditional squeegee and water-fed pole systems.
  • Tool Handling: Skilled in using window cleaning tools such as squeegees, scrapers, mops, brushes, and extension poles.
  • Chemical Knowledge: Understanding of the different cleaning solutions and chemicals, and their appropriate usage for different types of surfaces.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ability to maintain and troubleshoot cleaning equipment to ensure it functions correctly and safely.

Safety and Compliance

  • Safety Procedures: Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries, including proper use of ladders, harness, and chemicals.
  • Compliance: Awareness of industry regulations and standards, ensuring all work complies with local and national safety and health regulations.

  • Physical Stamina: Good physical condition to handle the demands of the job, such as climbing, lifting, and working for extended periods of time.
  • Coordination and Balance: Excellent hand-eye coordination and balance, particularly when working at heights.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Good driving record
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
  • Comfort working at heights or with ladders
  • No tattoos above the shoulders, or any offensive tattoos
  • No unprofessional facial piercings

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Class E driver's license
  • Stable work history
  • Customer service experience
  • Leadership abilities
  • 20+ Years old

WORK SCHEDULE

Typical schedule is Monday – Friday 7:45am to 4:30pm; however, due to weather and workload, times must be flexible.
