A driver helper supports route drivers to deliver products and/or equipment to customers. This position is labor intensive and requires working both inside and outside exposing you to the elements of weather. Appropriate attire is required, as you will interacting with customer and consumers. THIS IS A JOB THAT REQUIRES STRONG PERSON WHO WILL HAVE TO RIDE WITH DRIVER TO MOVE AND INSTALL VENDING MACHINES AND EQUIPMENT.,

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Unload and load product from truck at customer locations
Install vendors and load/reload with products as necessary
Repair and perform preventative maintenance on vending/fountain equipment as needed
Collect accurate and complete equipment information
Maintain parts, tools, and equipment
Complete required paperwork and maintain accurate customer/work order records for each delivery
Transport miscellaneous items such as compressors for repair/scrap, cardboard for recycle, etc.
Fill install and adjust to proper mix of product
Establish positive customer relationships
Regular, reliable, predictable attendance

HELPFUL EXPERIENCE:
Generating and setting work schedules (e.g., determining the priority of work projects, building work schedules, scheduling tasks during the day, etc.)
Operating trucks Class B license (e.g., performing basic functions like driving forwards, driving backwards, or maneuvering in tight spaces, etc.)
Serving customers (e.g., resolving customer issues, ensuring appropriate communication with store managers, following up on customer requests, etc.)
Completing basic paperwork (e.g., filling out paperwork, completing documentation to turn in to supervisor, filling out timecards mileage, etc.)
Working with mechanical systems preferred (e.g., knowing mechanical concepts, troubleshooting, and repairing appliances, performing basic household repair in plumbing, circuits, fuses, and electrical components, operating hand tools and power tools, etc.)

Requirements:
PPE must wear steal toe boots
Must have current class driver s license (Class C / Not CDL)
Previous driving experience delivering food and beverage products is preferred
Previous merchandising products preferred (e.g., filling shelves, building displays, making products look attractive on shelves, rotating product, cleaning shelves, or eliminating out of stocks and out of date products, etc.)
Operating equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks, breakdowns, etc.)
