We are seeking a Defense Health Agency (DHA) Pharmacy MHSG Informatics Integration Branch (IIB) Support Analyst to join the Pharmacy Operations Support Contract (POSC) team. This position will directly support implementation of pharmacy automation in Military Treatment Facilities (MTF). The position requires understanding of technical and clinical requirements, ability to conform to government contracting processes, strong organizational skills and the ability to perform with the highest professional conduct while coordinating multiple projects.

Successful applicant must comply with federal contractor vaccine mandate requirements.

This is a remote position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Support implementation of MTF pharmacy automation solutions by clarifying clinical and technical requirements, supporting the contract process, coordinating stakeholder meetings, establishing and monitoring schedules, tracking decisions, action items, and deliverables. Specifically, the successful candidate will:

  • Provide project coordination support for Pharmacy Informatics Integration programs, which includes, but not limited to, assisting in the monitoring of day-to-day program(s) performance, communicating with vendors and MTF pharmacy leadership/personnel to provide technical expertise and project support.
  • Draft/assist with development of various acquisition documents, such as, Statements of Work (SOWs), Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Delivery Orders, sole source memorandum, Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs), and appropriate contract modifications in support of Pharmacy Informatics Integration programs.
  • Assist with implementation and operational activities related to Pharmacy Informatics programs.
  • Draft/assist with the development of Defense Business Certification (DBC) documentation in support of the Pharmacy Informatics programs.
  • Solicit technical information from various Government and civilian organizations and act as liaison to various DHA Program Offices, the Services (Army, Air Force, & Navy), and contractors on Pharmacy IM/IT issues.
  • Draft/ assist in preparation of information papers, briefings, and presentations for members of the Pharmacy Informatics Integration team.
  • Provide support for Pharmacy Informatics workgroups and committees as required.
  • Organize meetings including appropriate meeting materials and record minutes for meetings as required.
  • Monitor, schedule and assist with action items as required.
  • Assist in the development of Standard Operating Procedures for all Informatics Integration projects and programs.
  • Perform other duties as required by management.

Work Experience:

  • Progressive experience (minimum 3 years) in project coordination with projects requiring integration, implementation, and training.
  • At least 2 years' experience of Information Technology (IT) systems support; familiarity with electronic messaging standards (e.g., NCPDP, HL7) and information assurance requirements preferred.
  • 1 year experience supporting contracting related actions such as writing requests for information, requests for proposal, and statement of work; understanding of the Department of Defense budgeting and government acquisition process preferred.
  • Familiarity with Cerner PharmNet and Composite Health Care System (CHCS) preferred.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite - Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, Teams.

  • Ability to request/provide clarification to resolve ambiguity.

Education:

  • Preferred Bachelor's Degree or at least 4 years Pharmacy experience, preferably MTF Pharmacy experience.

Certificates, Licenses and Registrations:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred.
  • Be a United States citizen capable of obtaining an IT-2 position of Public Trust.

Communication Skills:

  • Excellent communication, verbal and writing skills.
  • Demonstrated experience communicating effectively across internal and external organizations.

Travel:

  • Willing to travel occasionally as needed.

Environmental Requirements:

  • Remote work in a private and suitable location

  • Private high efficiency home phone or mobile phone service is required
  • Highly recommend access to Adobe, card reader, and a scanner
  • Standard Monday through Friday day schedule, with some extended hours at times
