Food Lab Aide/Receiving/Office- Entry Level Position

Our lab location in Madison, WI is hiring a full-time, entry-level Lab Aide/Receiving/Office (40 hours/week).
We offer a competitive salary based upon knowledge and experience. This position includes full health benefits for self and family (employer pays for 100% of employee premiums and 50% of dependents on our base plan). Deibel also offers a self-funded dental plan, vision plan, and 401K option along with profit sharing.

Compensation: Starting hourly rates at $18 - $20 D.O.E.
Schedule: Wednesday through Saturday 10:30am - 9pm(Close) 4-10 work week.
The position requires the candidate to work washing laboratory dish wear, and assist the Lab technicians with sample prep as well as other janitorial duties in the lab and office. Candidate will also assist in the media lab preparing broths and agars to meet the operational need of the lab. Candidate must be willing to work both independently and with the team. Candidate must have a can do attitude
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Entry Level Position: We are Happy to Train.
- High School Graduate or equivalent.
- 0-1 Years Work Experience.
- Ability to follow written instructions(recipes).
- Must be able to work efficiently and meet the needs of the lab.
- Must have a good attitude.
- Must be able to lift 10lbs repeatedly throughout the day and be on your feet.
- Must be able to pick up to 50lbs (with both hands).
- Must work occasional holidays.

- Must live within 30 miles of the lab - no relocation packages available
