Bethesda Country Club is hiring a Head Equipment Manager. This position will be responsible for all equipment maintenance in the Greens Department. Essential Functions:

  • Ability to function under pressure and set priorities and adjust to changing conditions.
  • Have an eye for detail regarding cutting unit precision, shop neatness and cleanliness, and equipment fleet condition.
  • Maintain the up keep and preventative maintenance of a large equipment fleet taking pride in the fleet, understanding the financial investment the membership has made.
  • Dedication to personal and team improvements to better the overall shop experience. Good communication skills with the ability to work independently and as a team.

Requirements:

  • Five years or more experience as a Head Equipment Manager or very experienced Assistant will be considered.
  • Knowledge of small/large engine repair, reel maintenance, electrical and welding a plus.
  • Prior experience at high-end golf/country club, or mechanic shop.
  • Computer skills, with the ability to keep up to date records of equipment serviced, inventory, etc. Being on the cutting edge of technology is a plus.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
