In this role, you will work closely with students, families, and staff to promote a positive and supportive school environment.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-3:30 pm.
  • Provide Social Work services and support to Pre-K-4th grade students.
  • Manage a caseload of 20-25 IEP students.
  • Support General Education students as needed.
  • Develop Behavior Intervention Plans.
  • Be a leading part of IEP creation and development.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement effective support plans.
  • Conduct assessments and create intervention strategies to improve student outcomes.
  • Facilitate communication between school and home to ensure a cohesive approach to student well-being.
  • Lead and participate in professional development sessions and school-wide initiatives.
  • Advocate for students' needs and connect them with appropriate community resources.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Social Work.
  • Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL).
  • Endorsement in Social Work.
  • Experience working with K-4th grade students is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices in social work and education.
