About the Job

We are seeking skilled Electricians with a strong background in industrial and electrical maintenance within a manufacturing environment. Our client, a leader in the automotive industry, requires professionals who are experienced in working directly on manufacturing equipment rather than facilities maintenance. If you have extensive experience in handling high-voltage electrical systems and CNC machines, this opportunity might be perfect for you.

  • Competitive Pay: $35 per hour, with an additional $1 shift premium for 2nd and 3rd shifts.
  • Shift Options: Availability for 2nd shift (2 PM - 10 PM) or 3rd shift (10 PM - 6 AM).
  • Overtime Opportunities: Potential for mandatory overtime on Saturdays, with pay at 1.5x for over 40 hours and on Saturdays, and 2x pay on Sundays and holidays.
  • Direct Hire Role: Secure a stable, long-term position with relocation assistance available.


What Youll Be Doing:

  • Perform electrical maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including troubleshooting and repairing circuits, motors, and drives.
  • Work with CNC machines, particularly those using Fanuc and Siemens controllers, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.
  • Utilize your experience with PLCs, especially Allen Bradley, to manage and adjust Program Frequency Drives.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with proximity switches, light screens, safety circuits, and various voltage circuits ranging from 24V DC to 480V AC.
  • Collaborate with controls engineers and other team members to ensure optimal machine performance and safety standards.


Requirements:

  • Experience: 7+ years as an Electrician, preferably in a manufacturing environment, or a Journeymans card.
  • Skills: Extensive experience with industrial maintenance, electrical maintenance, high voltage systems (480V, 120V, and down to 24V DC), and PLCs (Allen Bradley preferred).
  • Technical Proficiency: Ability to work with CNC machines, Program Frequency Drives, and troubleshoot complex electrical systems.
