Job Title: Adjunct Instructor of Music
Reports To: Chair of the Division of Humanities
Status: Contract, Part-time, Exempt
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
The Humanities Division at Mount Saint Mary College seeks a qualified individual to teach Introduction to Music and Beatles/Music of the 1960s (or, if necessary, an alternative themed course) in Fall 2024, with the possibility of extension to an ongoing basis. These are daytime courses meeting twice weekly during the traditional 15-week semester schedule (8/26-12/6).
Requirements
- A Master’s degree or higher is required in Music or a related field.
- Previous teaching experience is preferred.
Compensation
- $2640-$3120 per course
