This is a full-time role based in Lockland, OH.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the environmental and safety operations
  • Assist with the compliance, reporting & record keeping
  • Research environmental sustainability issues or concerns
  • Enforcement of Sustainability & Environmental Policy, Procedures, Plans, Programs
  • Monitor, report, and evaluate effectiveness of sustainability program implementations.
  • Internal and external compliance audits
  • Conduct Corrective Actions and Preventive Actions resulting from non-conformances
  • Update Vendor Audits


Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with sustainability is required
  • Previous experience in the Manufacturing Industry is required
  • Knowledge of environmental science and greenhouse gas offset (CO2e) measurement methods and theories.
  • Previous experience with EPA, OSHA, and DOT
  • Hazard recognition
  • Computer skills

Must-Have:

  • Manufacturing Industry experience
  • Environmental Scientist experience
  • Greenhouse Gas Offset knowledge


Nice to Have:

  • Associate's degree is preferred
  • EPA, OSHA, & DOT experience
  • Textile experience


Additional info:

  • Work schedule is 4 - 10 hour days
  • They have a good environment. I have spoken with both of the managers that would be overseeing the environmental scientist and they seem easy to work with They’ve also grown a lot in the past few years as company
