Bilingual Training Instructor

Location: Blairsville, PA (No remote/hybrid option)

In accordance with local, state, and federal statutes regulating the trucking industry, a Fleet Manager serves as a trusted advisor to an assigned number of drivers and driver trainees by managing and directing their daily activities. This position will comply to company standards of excellence of best-in-class service and in support of our Mission.

How YOU Will Make an Impact

• Schedule and conduct new driver orientation sessions regarding PGT's operational and safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct and supervise road evaluations for new and current drivers as required by company policy and/or state and federal regulations.
• Schedule and conduct on-going training and evaluation of current drivers.
• Conduct classroom presentations.
• Ensure all t raining is conducted within the regulations set forth by the Department of Transportation and PGT.
• Assist in the evaluation of Certified Pro Trainer performance.
• Coordinate with other departments for driver training needs and requirements.

What YOU Need to Succeed

• Class A CDL required, flatbed experience preferred.
• Fluent in Spanish and English
• Must have working knowledge of transportation software.
• Integrate and communicate all Department of Transportation changes to rules and regulations into the training curriculum.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Maintain appropriate equipment for hands on instruction.
• Maintain cost control attributed to the training process.
• Maintain security of all company assets in the training process.
• Perform all other related duties as required by business necessity or assigned by Management.
