Monday - Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm

The Hampton - Newport News Community Services Board's Partners in Recovery Program is the leading provider of high-quality, comprehensive outpatient counseling, medication management, and medication-assisted treatment services to adults who are facing substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. Our clinical approach is person-centered and tailored to address the complex interaction of an individual's substance use and psychiatric-related issues.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. As an LPN at Partners in Recovery, you will play a crucial role in helping individuals on their path to recovery by providing essential medical and nursing support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer medication under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner.
  • Monitor and assess patients' physical and mental health status.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
  • Assist in coordinating and organizing medication management services.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all patients in our care.

Requirements: Licensed Practical Nurse with one year of experience in substance abuse treatment including the dispensing narcotic medication.

Current H-NNCSB staff are not eligible for a sign-on bonus.


The selected candidate must successfully pass a criminal history fingerprint background investigation, DMV record check, Child Registry search, drug screening test and employment reference checks.
