The hourly range for this position is $19.86 - $25.78 with a work schedule of Monday - Thursday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM at our office in Mokelumne Hill.

Your role as a Subsidy Coordinator

As a Subsidy Coordinator at The Resource Connection, you will play a crucial role in the successful implementation of our subsidy program. Working under the guidance of the Subsidy Supervisor, you will meticulously carry out program operations to meet established goals, adhere to state and federal regulations, and align with organizational policies. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will closely interact with various teams including R&R staff, fiscal staff, and the Program Director to ensure seamless coordination and compliance. Your dedication to upholding guidelines, regulations, and policies set by the Resource Connection's Board of Directors and funding sources will be instrumental in providing vital support to families in need.

Requirements for this Subsidy Coordinator job

To excel as a Subsidy Coordinator at The Resource Connection, candidates must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of two years of clerical experience in an office setting, ideally involving eligibility determination for financial assistance. Candidates with additional coursework in early childhood education and at least two years of experience in child care, child development, family services, or community resources are preferred. Strong attention to detail, flexibility, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, email, and internet usage are essential. A solid understanding of childcare principles and practices, along with the ability to effectively communicate concepts to others, is crucial for success in this role.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

  • High School Diploma or equivalency
  • Two years' experience working in an office performing clerical duties and experience working in a position determining eligibility for financial assistance
  • insurance or a similar work environment.
  • Completion of 12 semester units in early childhood education preferred
  • Two years' experience in one of the following preferred: child care, child development, family services or community resources.
