JOB SUMMARY

The Operations Minister is primarily responsible for coordinating all campus operations at the Campus location, providing support to staff and attenders, and leading volunteer teams to execute initiatives at their location. The Operations Minister is responsible for the day-to-day operations at the campus and provides support to campus leadership and attendees. Additionally, this role leads the Operations volunteer team.

POSITION SPECIFIC ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Works closely with Campus Pastor to oversee day-to-day operations of campus and support leadership and ministry needs
  • Lead the Operations volunteer team to include Recruit, equip and empower, and scheduling of volunteers for ministry activities such as Advance Track, Baptisms
  • Assist in the collection, entry, and maintenance of member data in databases for campus ensuring highest level of accuracy and data integrity
  • Provides oversight of campus budget
  • Manage logistics, systems and structure that includes but not limited to calendaring and event scheduling
  • Responsible for campus communications including emails and social media
  • Champion the BattleCreek Church mission, vision and core values at the campus
  • Perform other church duties as assigned to help all people of all ages all the time advance in their journey with Christ

Policy and Procedure: Possesses knowledge (or seeks appropriate guidance) and maintains the ability to accurately apply all policies and procedures as listed in the BattleCreek employee handbook or as otherwise instructed as able to lead others.

Communication: Keeps Supervisor and/or Human Resources informed of significant problems (legal or liability threat) that jeopardize the achievement of objectives.

Continuous Improvement: Possesses talent, desire, passion, servant leadership and initiative to take position and department(s) to the next level while continuing the learning process to ensure the very best possible team, department and work environment.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • BA in Communications, Marketing, Business or similar relevant field, preferred
  • At least 3-5 years’ experience in ministry, experience in a multisite model preferred
  • Strong time management skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong relational skills with the ability to develop and empower volunteers a plus
  • Strong skills using Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms
  • Experience with Monday.com and Ministry Platform a plus
