OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY
The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for establishing and supporting the best representative network or alternate sales channel, that will result in maximum Fulton sales, in their assigned territories. This position must represent and promote the Fulton companies, products and services in a professional manner that is aligned with our company values and operating philosophy.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Sales Network - Continually ensure an effective and superior manufacturer representative network is in place to promote each Fulton product line, in the assigned territories.
- Communicate and define the mutual Fulton/Rep expectations for each representative and regularly measure progress. 3) Perform sales and technical presentations with representatives to facilitate training and promote Fulton products. Facilitate representative support functions including factory presence in the territory, staff product and service training opportunities, pricing and competitive strategies.
- Active involvement with all open representative issues and consistent engagement through resolution.
- Communicate market, competitive and territory information to appropriate Fulton staff.
- When needed, explore and implement alternative sales channels to optimize sales and market penetration.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Technical degree preferred Minimum of 5 years sales management and representative experience Background in heat transfer systems preferred Demonstrates Critical Competencies in:
- Communication skills- Ability to provide clear communication in both verbal and written formats.
- Relationship Building – Adds value to representative and is considered a factory resource.
- Presentation skills - Effective presenter with the ability to address large audiences
- Possess high professional ethics, good judgment and the ability to maintain composure during potentially stressful situations.
- Ability to travel on short notice and for significant timeframes
