Site Reliability Engineer

This Software Engineer will join the SRE team, which is part of the Engineering org, reporting to the Director of Engineering.You will join a small team that consists of other software engineers. You will participate in our agile software development process to brainstorm and build amazing solutions that are highly desirable to our engineers and customers.
You are somebody who loves coding and helping others, has a good grasp of software engineers, and is eager to learn new skills while contributing to a fast-moving company. Some of the technologies that are used can be found here: stackshare.io/supplypike/supplypike
This role is hybrid, with 2-3 days a week in our Rogers office.
Key Responsibilities
As a software engineer in the Site Reliability Engineering team, you will build the core technical infrastructure and components that our engineering teams use in a self-service manner. In simplified terms, it is an enablement team that appreciates collaboration, teamwork, the cloud, new technologies, and innovative ways of working. As part of the team, you'll have several key responsibilities:
- Own production infrastructure engineering teams depend on.
- Own internal standards and systems for engineering operations.
- Partner alongside engineering teams to enhance product reliability.
- Support teams on operational concerns and troubleshooting.
- Advice teams on best practices.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- B.S in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- 2+ years of hands-on software development experience in one of Go, Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, or similar.
- Experience with 1 or more: GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, Go, AWS, Azure, Typescript, Terraform.
- Experience building and scaling software in public cloud environments with open-source software
- Strong background in development automation, containerization, container orchestration, and microservices architecture.
- Experience in enabling internal teams to deliver fast utilizing continuous integration and delivery concepts, incident management, and metrics-driven operations.
- Willingness to work collaboratively and share knowledge with the team and company.
- Willingness to be on-call or similar to deliver highest customer product experience.
- Strong work ethic and ability to flourish with minimal guidance.
