Job Description

POSITION TITLE: Early Childhood Substitute Teacher

CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt

STATUS: Full Time

PURPOSE:

The Early Childhood Substitute Teacher is responsible for assisting staff by providing a safe and inclusive educational setting for all children.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

1. Assist teachers with creating and implementing curriculum.
2. Actively participate in parent engagement opportunities.
3. Ensure the safety of all children at all times.
4. Attend all meetings and trainings as required.
5. Maintain great communication and professional relationships with clients, family members, and co-workers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Must be at least 18 years of age or older. (Required)
2. High School Diploma or GED Equivalent (Required)
3. Driver’s license (Required)
4. Good Communicator, Dependable, and Compassionate
