Express Service Technician

Job DescriptionJob Description

Job Description

  • Performs express service and light repairs on customer vehicles.
  • Conducts multi-point inspections of customer vehicles to identify needed express services and repairs.
  • Uses and maintains dealership-provided tools and equipment in proper operating condition
  • Documents inspection findings and service requirements clearly and accurately.
  • Communicates proactively to ensure a smooth, safe flow of work through the Express Service bays.
  • Quality-checks own work and the work of other Technicians as requested.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking ability
  • Ability to lift at least fifty pounds
  • Strong team player
  • Motivated to learn and advance their careers

Experience Required

We will train the right candidate regardless of experience level. Most of the technicians hired into our Express Service Department are promoted into our main shop over time. We are constantly training our technicians and prefer to promote from within.

Pay range  

New hires start between $17.00-$19.00 per hour; based upon qualifications and experience, the salary range may increase to between $20.00-$21.00 per hour

Benefits

We offer to employees (and their families) medical, dental, vision and life insurance. Employees can enroll in our company 401k plan with matching contribution up to 2%. Employees receive 1 week vacation after 12 months of employment. Hourly employees receive 6 paid holidays throughout the calendar year. All employees will receive 1 hour of Washington paid sick leave for every 40 hours worked. Hired applicant will be able to participate in various bonus programs throughout the year. All approved training is company paid.
