Looking for a great summer job, love the out doors..... Sentry Management, Inc. has a associations located in Albany who are looking for responsible Pool Attendant(s). Beginning Memorial Day and will conclude around Labor Day.

Duties:

  • Checks the pool for hazardous conditions when arriving.
  • Performs equipment checks and ensures appropriate equipment is available as needed.
  • Knows, understands, and consistently applies safety rules, policies and guidelines for the pool and aquatic area.
  • Performs various maintenance duties as directed to maintain a clean and safe facility.
  • Maintains constant surveillance of patrons in the facility; acts immediately and appropriately to secure safety of patrons in the event of emergency. Children under 16 are not permitted without adult supervision and ensure that residents have access cards in order to enter the pool area
  • Provides emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services.
  • Presents professional appearance and attitude at all times and maintains a high standard of customer service.
  • Prepares and maintains appropriate activity reports as required.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. (arranging of tables and chairs when needed)

Qualifications:

  • Ability to react calmly and effectively in any situation.
  • Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork
  • Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions.
  • Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures.
