Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Corporate Closer who is a detail-oriented, technology focused professional to join our Closing Department. This person will work directly with our dedicated In-House Counsel and provide support to our Private Client Group. To successfully occupy this role, you must have the ability to work in an extremely robust environment as it relates to the use of sophisticated technology and be comfortable working in a fast-paced atmosphere.

This is a full-time employment opportunity working in our Boca Raton Headquarters Office.

Requirements

Qualifications:

The following list of qualifications and responsibilities is not all inclusive, as each employee is expected to be a team player and may be assigned other tasks as necessary. This is meant to serve as an overview of the position description:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Legal Assistant or Closing Coordinator, preferably in the real estate sector.
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in legal studies
• Positive attitude, high energy, extremely organized, excellent communication skills and self-motivated.
• Strong computer skills, high rate of literacy and ambition to learn.
• Extremely proficient in Microsoft office, including Word and Excel.
• Attention to detail coupled with high demands.
• Ability to work in-office on a full-time schedule, some flexibility with work hours in order to respond to company clients/customers.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary Closing Coordinator for all Private Client Group and any other deals handled by outside counsel.
• Liaise with the Private Client Group, internal team, and outside counsel.
• Primary Closing Coordinator responsible for complex in-house closings, such as $1-5M portfolio rental and bridge loans, larger bridge new construction, and other atypical deals where the borrower does not have counsel and loan documents will not be negotiated.
• Handle any overflow in single asset deals closing at the end of the month.
• Manage closing related post-closing matters, such as collateral substitutions, loan document amendments, clearing capital partner exceptions, and responding to closing related questions.
• Assist the General Counsel in certain corporate legal work, such as annual contract renewals, loan document templates, etc.
