We are seeking an experienced Information Assurance Support Lead to join our team in support of Information System Support services for Air National Guard Readiness Center (ANGRC).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supports and oversees Communication Security (COMSEC), Telecommunications Electronics Materials Protected from Emanating Spurious Transmissions (TEMPEST), and the Vulnerability Management team.
  • Oversees the Information Assurance (IA) program to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of information assets.
  • Leads the implementation and management of security controls and policies.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to assess risks, identify vulnerabilities, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including but not limited to NIST, FISMA, and DoD directives.
  • Conduct regular security audits and reviews to evaluate the effectiveness of the IA program.
  • Provide Risk Management Framework (RMF) documentation or artifacts.
  • Provide guidance and support for incident response and recovery activities.
  • Provide an active plan of action to support the ANGRC in reducing vulnerabilities and maintaining IA Compliance
  • Provide support to the Joint Base Andrews (JBA) Cyber office in preparations for known Command Cyber readiness Inspection (CCRI) inspections.
  • Provide services to support the ANGRC and Continuity of Operations (COOP) Site in reducing vulnerabilities and maintaining IA Compliance.
  • Provide support in preparations for known Command Cyber readiness Inspection (CCRI) inspections.
  • Provide Risk Management Framework (RMF) documentation or artifacts to host base support entities in which they receive services.
  • Conduct vulnerability scans and patch vulnerabilities IAW AFNET standards and the capabilities provided by the host base.
  • Meet with designated Cyber Liaisons to provide quarterly updates of ANGRC specific processes, AF directed changes, and personnel changes to Cyber Liaison.


Requirements:
  • Must possess a deep understanding of information security principles and practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field is required.
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • Must possess a minimum Level 2 DOD 8570.01M Information Assurance Support Environment (IASE) level certifications as required DOD.
  • At least 7 years of relevant work experience. Prior experience in a leadership role within an IA program is essential.
  • Experience in a government or military setting is preferred, with a strong understanding of operational continuity requirements.
  • Must be proficient to the Air Force Management Internal Control Toolsets (MICT) system and other requirements with respect to IA operations.
  • Excellent communications (both written and spoken) including customer support.
  • Due to the sensitive nature of the role, a high-level security clearance is mandatory. Must posses an active Top Secret security clearance.
