Job DescriptionJob Description

Hover Senior Living Community is seeking a Temporary Van Driver to provide transportation services for our three communities, Independent Living, Assisted Living, and GreenHouse as needed. The Van Driver will be responsible for safely transporting residents to and from medical appointments, social outings, and other destinations as needed.

Responsibilities:

- Safely operate facility-owned vans in accordance with all traffic laws and regulations
- Assist residents with boarding and exiting the van, ensuring their safety and comfort during transit
- Maintain accurate records of trips, including mileage, destinations, and times
- Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and medical professionals to coordinate transportation schedules
- Ensure the van is clean, well-maintained, and equipped with necessary safety equipment at all times
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents and their families, promoting a positive and welcoming atmosphere

Requirements:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift and transfer residents as needed
- Willingness to undergo background checks and drug screenings
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed

Minimum pay $15.00 DOE
