Production Supervisor – Competitive – Tracy, CA

The Role

Would you welcome the opportunity to work for a quality-driven company, joining an entrepreneurial “can-do” team? American Custom Meats, a leading national meat supplier, has an immediate need for a Production Supervisor.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and managing multiple production lines ensuring the timely processing of raw materials into finished goods.

The key responsibilities of a Production Supervisor include, but are not limited to:

  • Leads team members by managing, and executing plant processes.
  • Manages team members in attaining production and quality goals, and monitors their attendance, job performance, and meal and rest breaks.
  • Ensures appropriate resources (including materials, equipment, and staffing needs) are available to maintain production scheduled.

The Person

The key skills and qualities of a Production Supervisor:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1-3 years’ experience as a Production Supervisor.
  • 2-5 years’ experience in a food processing environment.
  • Ability to lead a team and take initiative.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Professional demeanour.
  • Must be an effective verbal and written communicator.
