The AmeriCorps Volunteer Coordinator will ensure volunteers receive a proper orientation to Rebuilding Together’s work, and are placed with appropriate rebuilding projects based on skill/experience. The AmeriCorps Volunteer Coordinator will implement project evaluations to continuously improve the quality of volunteer experiences, as well as show our appreciation to volunteers for their service to our clients.

  • Support general volunteers in completing direct hands-on repairs. Ensure that volunteers are trained in their task and have access to tools/materials, that proper safety procedures are being followed, that the work product is of good quality, and that volunteers enjoy and feel appreciated for their service.

Contribute volunteer-focused content to tell the stories of our homeowners and the impact our volunteers and partners have had on their homes and lives.
  • As a grassroots non-profit, all team members will have an active role in implementing larger rebuilding projects throughout the year.
