Do you have experience in Collections? Are you looking for a REMOTE position? This could be the job for you It is a full-time role (37.5 hrs/wk) working two days 8 AM – 4 PM, two nights 1 PM – 9 PM and Fridays from 8 AM – 3 PM.
Reps are required to work at least two Saturdays a month (from 8 AM – 12 PM) and will work a half day during the week when that occurs. All work-from-home equipment is provided by the Client – you just need to have a quiet workspace with no distractions during working hours.

A Day in the Life of an AR Representative
  • Confers with students and co-signers via telephone to determine the reason for overdue payments and to request payment
  • Explains reasons for receivables balances with former students and/or co-signers as required
  • Records information about the financial status of students and/or co-signers and the status of collection efforts
  • Updates collection systems to reflect action and result codes of each event
  • Notifies co-signers of their obligations if former students refuse to make payments
  • Performs skip tracing duties when there is no communication with the student or co-signer

Requirements for the AR Representative position
  • 1-3 years of recent collections experience
  • Ability to read and interpret financial statements (i.e. ledger cards)
  • Effective communication skills
  • Strong demonstrated ability with using Microsoft Office – especially Excel
  • Ability to work independently in a remote position while meeting required goals
