Scorecard for the Role: Junior Estimator

The Mission: Drive profitability and growth by providing accurate, efficient, and competitive project estimates while maintaining quality and continual improvement in our processes.

ROLE OUTCOMES:

1. Submit all assigned project estimates by the deadlines, with a 100% on-time submission rate for all estimates.

2 Ensure that all assigned projects' quantity takeoff calculations are correct, with a variance of less than 2% between original and final project numbers.

3 Contribute to the production of estimates that meet or surpass the monthly revenue objectives established in the Veracity milestones for 2024 and 2025, with the goal of producing $17.9 million in revenue in 2025 and $22.5 million in revenue in 2026.

4 First 12 months: Handle small-scale project estimates independently, with a success record of 90% or above as determined by the Senior Estimator.

5 Identify and execute at least three process improvements in the estimating workflow during the first year, documenting and demonstrating the process improvements.

COMPETENCIES

Review and verify project specifications and drawings under supervision to guarantee accurate and complete estimates.

Assist the Senior Estimator in creating precise cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor expenses for given projects.

Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather and clarify project needs.

Maintain accurate and complete documentation for all assigned estimates and related tasks to ensure the project

Learn and use estimating software to improve accuracy and efficiency.
