Location : Sunnyvale, California

We are looking for a Functional Tester with extensive mobile testing experience who will have a strong background in working for product-based companies, with a preference for those with previous experience at Apple. This role will involve ensuring the quality and performance of our mobile applications through rigorous testing and detailed analysis.

Responsibilities:

  • Proven experience in functional and mobile testing in a product-based company.
  • Previous experience at Apple is highly desirable.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.
  • Knowledge of programming languages used for automation (e.g., Java, Python).
  • Understanding of CI/CD processes and tools.
  • Strong understanding of mobile operating systems (iOS and Android) and mobile application testing.
  • Proficiency in using test management and bug-tracking tools.
  • Ability to design and execute test cases based on software requirements.
  • Familiarity with automation testing tools for mobile applications is a plus.
  • Conduct thorough functional testing of mobile applications on various platforms (iOS and Android).
  • Develop, document, and maintain test cases, test scripts, and test data.
  • Execute test cases and report defects, ensuring a high standard of product quality.
  • Collaborate closely with development, design, and product teams to understand requirements and provide feedback.
  • Participate in agile/scrum activities including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Utilize automated testing tools and frameworks to enhance testing efficiency.
  • Perform regression testing to verify resolved issues and ensure overall system stability.
  • Maintain and update test documentation to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
