Job DescriptionJob DescriptionReceiving Clerk Peoplelink Staffing Solutions, in partnership with a prominent electrical manufacturer in the Bessemer, AL area, is seeking a receiving clerk to join their team Receiving Clerk Job Summary:
  • Pay: $18-20 an hour
  • Shifts Available:
    • 1st Shift: 6:00 am to 4:30 pm
  • update records with computers and paper files
  • Communicate with vendors
  • Place orders when managers request new items
  • Make sure truck shipments are unloaded and stocked quickly and efficiently
  • Follow all safety and machine safety guidelines
Receiving Clerk Qualifications:
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer and data entry skills
  • Organization and time management skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing conditions
  • Understanding the products the business sells, the supplies they use, and the quality levels customers want
  • Understanding of math, accounting, and budgeting
  • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
  • Previous receiving clerk experience
