CNC Machinist

As a Machinist (also known as CNC Operator, Manual Machine Operator), you'll be responsible for performing simple setups and operating manual/CNC equipment to manufacture medical components. You'll work in a team-based environment with a focus on safety, cleanliness, and organization. You'll also collaborate closely with operations, materials, and receiving teams to ensure quality and compliance measures are met, and accurate documentation is completed in alignment with quality, compliance, and operating procedures.

• High School Diploma or GED; technical or vocational certifications preferred but not required.
• 6 months of machining experience and/or completion of a trade school machine shop program.
• Proficiency in machine setups for production runs, troubleshooting CNC machines, and blueprint reading.
• Ability to read/interpret blueprints, use measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, scales, indicators, and SPC equipment), and identify tools.
• Experience with CNC Swiss Lathe (Citizen, Star), CNC Lathe (5+ axis) (Mazak, Okuma, Doosan, Dmg Mori Seiki), CNC Lathe (2-4 axis) (Mazak, Haas, Okuma, Doosan, Dmg Mori Seiki), CNC Mill (3-4 axis VMC) (Fanuc, Okuma, Doosan, Bridgeport, Mazak, Haas), CNC Mill (5+ axis VMC) (Mitsubishi, Mazak, Haas, Okuma, Dmg Mori Seiki).
