Position: Electrical Superintendent

Job Overview:

The Electrical Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing all electrical aspects of our construction projects. This includes managing and coordinating the work of electricians, ensuring compliance with safety and building codes, and maintaining a high level of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan, organize, and supervise the electrical work on construction projects

- Review project plans and specifications to determine electrical requirements

- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to ensure timely completion of electrical work

- Ensure compliance with all safety and building codes

- Monitor and maintain project schedules and budgets

- Conduct regular site visits to ensure work is being performed according to plans and specifications

- Provide technical expertise and support to electricians and other team members

- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment

- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets company standards

- Manage and track materials and equipment inventory

- Prepare progress reports and communicate project updates to stakeholders

- Train and mentor electricians to improve their skills and knowledge

- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on the job site

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electrical Superintendent in the construction industry

-Strong knowledge of electrical systems and building codes

- Proven experience managing and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously

- Excellent leadership and communication skills

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software

- Valid electrical license and OSHA certification preferred

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is a plus
