VALCO is a leader in commercial poultry, egg, and swine production equipment, specializing in world-famous poultry watering and feeding systems is currently looking for Full-Time Material Handler for our Press Room at our Coldwater, Ohio facility.

* 4 DAY WORK WEEK

* 60 HOURS PTO FOR 2024 AFTER COMPLETION OF PROBATIONARY PERIOD

* PAID WEEKLY

Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:

  • Move and organize parts or material in press room to facilitate the efficient flow of production operations
  • Assist job setters in the removal or retrieval of dies and place them in proper locations
  • Assist operators by moving material and finished parts promptly to and from their work stations
  • Remove and dispose of scrap
  • Inspect all parts containers (boxes, racks, skids, timbers, etc.) before using them and tag for repair or remove from service all damaged containers
  • Check all finished loads are tagged properly before moving them to inventory
  • Keep aisles, exits, fire extinguishers and circuit boxes clear of obstruction
  • Strictly adhere to all safety requirements
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Previous forklift experience
  • Proficient in math, reading, and writing
  • Basic Computer Skills
  • Good communication Skills
