Position Summary:

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate in formulating the plant-level master schedule, ensuring alignment with customer demands and utilization of MOS-level loading principles.
  • Oversee and monitor the accuracy of MRP or equivalent system outputs, optimizing setup, parameters, and daily dispatch lists.
  • Work closely with Customer Service and Operations teams, including Shop Floor Supervisors, to prioritize and schedule work across all work centers efficiently.
  • Monitor and enhance planning, scheduling, and execution of shop orders, optimizing parts flow, material utilization, and part traceability.
  • Contribute to maintaining capacity by ensuring proper staffing, resource scheduling, and utilization.
  • Develop and maintain visual metrics of team performance, including work in progress (WIP), in alignment with Magellan MOS requirements.
  • Participate in MOS procedures (Corporate Operation System) training and facilitate MOS meetings.

Position Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of related experience in planning and scheduling, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous experience in planning and scheduling within the manufacturing industry preferred.
  • Proficient in MRP/ERP systems, LEAN principles, JIT methodologies, shop safety practices, and customer and project management.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, Project, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
